• The Math: We automatically convert your thickness into feet, multiply the dimensions to find total cubic feet, and divide by 27 to give you standard Cubic Yards. For bagged concrete, we calculate the volume based on a standard 0.60 cubic foot yield per 80lb bag.

2. Drywall Estimator

Calculate exactly how many sheets and finishing materials you need to hang a room without over-ordering.

• How to use: Input the total linear footage of the walls you are covering and the ceiling height.

• The Math: The tool calculates total square footage and divides it by 32 (the square footage of a standard 4x8 sheet). It also estimates the accessories you'll need to finish the job: approximately 1 pound of screws per 100 square feet, and 0.53 pounds of joint compound per sheet.

3. Framing Calculator

Get a rapid count for your wall studs and top/bottom plates.

• How to use: Enter your total linear wall length and select your standard stud spacing (16-inch or 24-inch on center).

• The Math: We divide the wall length (in inches) by your spacing and add one starter stud. For horizontal plates, we calculate three total runs (one bottom plate, two top plates) based on standard 8-foot board lengths.
